Tara is a guitar technician & sound engineer based in Sydney's east.
Tara was born to German parents & was brought up with music playing an important part in her life from the very beginning. She spent her youth learning music and tinkering with different instruments, in 1999 she turned this interest in to a career and began working as a guitar tech in Bondi Rock Shop where she further learnt the trade; stringing, setting up and repairing hundreds of guitars and basses a month for several years. Despite moving on to recording studios, Tara continued to to pursue her interest and love of improving & fixing instruments, working on any guitar or bass she was requested to.
Tara has a real drive and passion for music and instruments, she is a perfectionist and takes great care and time in everything she does. Whether that be working on an guitar into the early hours of the morning, or fine-tuning adjustments on-the-fly to meet her client's desires, she works with German precision & efficiency.
Tara takes great pride in work well done and will never leave a client unsatisfied with her work. She will go to great lengths to ensure that you are entirely happy with any adjustments she has made for you.
