Should we not be able to complete a repair, we will recommend a field expert to help with amp repairs as well as more serious wood and finish repairs.Setups: including adjusting action, intonation, truss rod adjustments, nut slot height and width, pickup heights, polishing and oiling fretboards, adjusting machine heads, cleaning of pots and sockets. Adjustments are very personal. I aim to suit the individual customer's needs.
Wiring: all types of guitar wiring including pickup, pots, switch, socket and preamp replacement, electrification of acoustics, troubleshooting electrical problems (gremlin removal).
Nut/Saddle/Bridge: adjustment and/or replacement.
Fret Work: shaving, crowning or replacement.
You can either drop off and collect your instrument personally or take advantage of our courier service. We are partnered with CIVIC couriers who offer same day and overnight services at very reasonable rates.
We use D'Addario strings in all standard gauges. Should a specific brand or guage be preferred, we would request you either supply them with your instrument or give notice so that we can source it for you - this may cause service delays.
Most services are expected to take between one and four days, a more accurate time estimate can be given, along with a quote, when you contact us.
